Question: If you could ask Bill Nye about any eye care related topic, what would it be?
VSP is working with Bill Nye (yes, the Science Guy!) on a series of videos that look at eye health topics and myths. As we get ready to shoot the videos this week, we’d love to hear what eye-related myths you’d like Bill to explore. Just comment to this post with your eye-related question, and Bill Nye just might confirm or debunk yours.

Dear Doctor,
I heard a myth that carrots did not make your eyesite improve but tomatoes do. Is this true?
What exactly are floaters and will they ever go away?
Terri – My mom used to say the same thing when I crossed my eyes! Do you also remember if you cross your eyes and someone hits you on your back, they’ll get stuck?
Evelyn – I’ll make sure to forward your question to one of our VSP doctors for a response.
Thanks! Liz
When I was younger and would make faces and cross my eyes, my mother said, “keep it up and your eyes will stay like that”! or when I would try to sneeze with my eyes open she would say, “you need to close your eyes while you sneeze or else your eye balls will explode!”
Is that even possible?
Hello Doctor:
My husband was first diagnosed with a cataract, and had cataract surgery; but later was diagnosed with toxoplasmosis.
He was treated for toxoplasmosis. Are there any holistic ways to cure this?
Sincerely yours,
E Roberts
